Week 7: Going Deeper with Customers
[accessally_user_firstname] welcome to week 7, where you will develop Customer Personas. Customer Personas are important as they allow you to segment your customer types, and better understand the decision-making process of each of your unique “client segment types.” Remember, your customer research interviews (staying curious) will inform who your most ideal/aligned customer persona types are. If you haven’t been conducting interviews/surveys, you will want to do that now. Use this bonus resource to help with your interviews.
Developing customer personas also provides you direction on your marketing messaging toward each persona type and informs how you SELL your product. Once you understand the primary motivators of one persona over the other, you can align your messaging toward each of those personas.
